Your choiceOptional measurement. Off until you allow it.
Your informationNo name, email or questionnaire answers in referral records.
Your accessThe same Blueprint. The same shopping links.
What optional measurement records
If you allow it, PBS records shopping-page views and product-link clicks, with the time, product, brand, retailer, offer version and a coded Blueprint reference. We use this to understand how recommendations are used and prepare combined referral reports.
The coded reference recognises activity from the same Blueprint. It is pseudonymous, not anonymous, and is not a verified count of individual people. It does not tell us that you made a purchase.
Allow, decline or change your choice
Open “Referral privacy & preferences” in Shop your Blueprint to allow or decline. Your choice is saved for 90 days for that Blueprint, including on other devices using its private link. Expiry returns measurement to off. Keep your private Blueprint link private.
Declining stops new measurement without changing your products or shopping access. Existing referral records follow the retention window below. Recognised Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep measurement off, even if permission was previously saved.
This measurement does not use browser cookies or local storage. Retailers may use their own technologies after you leave PBS.
Who can see referral information
Referral reporting is private to authorised PBS administration. Vercel hosts the experience and Supabase provides the database. We do not give brands individual referral records or your customer profile. Any brand summaries we choose to share contain grouped totals only.
Purchases take place directly on retailer websites under their privacy practices, prices, delivery and return terms. PBS does not place the order or make delivery promises on their behalf. A commission relationship, where applicable, will be disclosed near the recommendation.
How long records remain
Referral reports use a rolling 90-day window. Older referral events, expired preferences and old counts-only cleanup receipts are removed by scheduled cleanup. The job runs hourly; deletion normally occurs on the next successful run. If cleanup becomes overdue, new measurement pauses until it is healthy again.
Technical service logs are separate. They can contain request URLs and device or network information needed to operate and secure the service, including when optional referral measurement is declined. Private-link URLs should therefore be treated as confidential, including in authorised operational logs.
Our checked Vercel configuration includes Observability Plus, for which the published runtime-log window is 30 days. Supabase Pro publishes a seven-day API/database log window. These are provider-managed windows, separate from the 90-day referral policy. See Vercel log retention and Supabase plan details.
Deleted records may remain in protected backups until those backups rotate. Supabase Pro provides seven days of daily database backups. A database restoration must be followed by expired-record cleanup before measurement resumes. See Supabase backup information.
Your Blueprint, customer records, orders and payment records are separate from this referral policy. Declining measurement does not delete them or cancel your access.
